One rainy Tuesday afternoon in a food court of a mall. A young family of three. No nanny. No gadgets. Mom went to get some food. Dad put Little Girl in a high chair. Dad took out a picture book from a bag and started to read. He projected his voice with such animated articulation and intonation. Little girl giggled, pointed to this and that in the book, clapped and squealed with delight.

Dog Happy
One blue sizzling afternoon. Stuck in a bumper to bumper traffic of a two way street. Everywhere I looked I see gloomy and distress face. Pedestrians, street hawkers, motorists, motorcyclists, tukang parkir. Not a single happy face. Until a black SUV passed me with both windows on the left side opened giving me a full view of three handsome huskies. I swear they were smiling at me.

Heavy Duty
A new girl in KDM. Tiny. I think she is three or four years old. She can hardly utter any recognizable words. But she loves to smile and laugh a lot. The biggest smile in the world! Her eyes twinkle and her face light up every time she grins from ear to ear. She is so resilient. I wish I could be more like her. How I envy her! Today for a reason she only knew she gave me a battery. One big D battery. I'm keeping it. A little reminder not to be easily deterred by whatever Life throw at me.

Terrible Tantrum
Just because I love running so much I thought I have a privilege to feel good after every run. So not true. I guess just like Life has its good day and bad day, Running has its up and down too. I couldn't believe today I actually said, "I hate running! I'm going to quit for good!" just because I couldn't bring myself to finish a long run. I'm such a drama queen. It was just one of those day. No big deal. Just brush it off my shoulder.

Sidetrack
For a drawing presentation I needed to find a picture of a right and left brain diagram showing its function. So I went to Google Image and text left brain right brain. I was surprised to find that one of my drawing showed up in the Google Image search. So cool! I completely abandoned my presentation and wrote this post instead.
